Changing of the seasons!  Fall is upon us and Hallowe'en is next month....Boo!

Holiday-Themed Stamp Camp at Bernalillo County Extension Association.  October 24, Wednesday.  Five projects - $15.00

Classes at Turner School of Driving:

Christmas 6 X 6 Scrapbook!  10/20, 10:00am to noon.  5 seats available.  Go to my Stampin' Up! website to register! (See link on the left)

Using the Stampin' Up! Color Coach:  If you don't have the Color Coach and the In Color additions, you might want to consider ordering this really useful too.  The Color Coach provides great guidance on basic color theory and how each card is organized.  A key value of the Color Coach is that it gives you solid color combinations to jump start your creativity and let you try colors you might not be using as much.

Every color card has two color combinations of three colors each.  One combination will be the Creative Combination - the first two colors on that combination will be a power pair.  The second combination will either be a Sweet Set or a Getting Started combination.  The Sweet Set offers two other colors (in addition to the card's color) out of the entire set of core colors.  The Getting Started combination uses only colors from the getting started set of colors.  Shelli has marked her favorites out of the Creative, Sweet Set, or Getting Started combinations with her heart.

SALSA Stamp News!: Lots of Learning Opportunities!

Holiday Stamp Camp:  If you registered, please don't forget to come!  Stamp Camp is full, but the next one will be in February or March 2013.  If you would like to have your own Stamp Camp please drop me an email and we can set it up!

Check out some changes on the Blog:  Some additions are on the Blog.  One is a Visitor tracking feed on the left side; this shows where visitors are coming from -- we're testing it to see if it is useful.  Another is a " -- a topic "cloud" on the right to see what's being talked about -- click on a word to get to the specific posting.  That saves trying to remember which day's post had a particular discussion.

Punches getting a little dull?  Just a reminder that you can tune up your punches with some aluminum foil and waxed paper.  Tear a strip of foil a little wider than your punch and fold it in half cross-wise (so the strip is half the length it was).  Punch two or three times from the foil.  Then tear a strip of waxed paper a little wider than your punch and fold the waxed paper in half.  Punch once or twice from the waxed paper -- this will lubricate the cutting edges.

Deadline Extended for MDS 2 Free Download:  It's true!  You have until Friday, September 14, to download a 30 day trial of the new My Digital  Studio 2.  Check it out!

SALSA News! MDS 2 Free Download Extended and Back to Spool!

Happy Labor Day, Salsa Stampers!

Deadline Extended for MDS 2 Free Download:  It's true!  You have until Friday, September 14, to download a 30 day trial of the new My Digital  Studio 2.  Check it out!

Stampin' Up! September Deal:  It's Back to Spool for you!  For every $40 in orders, you can choose the In Color spool of ribbon you wish.  See Back to Spool document in the Events List on the left side of the blog.

Don't labor over stamp colors:  It's easy to forget but important to remember.  Every Stampin' Up! stamp pad has 2 colors...really!  The first color is the rich deep color you get when you first ink up your stamp.  BUT -- there's a second color on your stamp, due to the residual ink.  Check it out on some scrap card stock.  Ink up a stamp, press once, then move the stamp over and press again.  Two coordinating colors to use in your card making or scrap booking!

My Stampin' Groups:  Will be posting each month's class instructions in the Useful Docs list on the left side of the blog.  Keep your eyes peeled!
