Today I want to share with you a fantastic technique for adding faux rusted metal embellishments to your cards. I used this technique to create the beautiful vintage Valentine card below. Allison Okamitsu did a wonderful video on this technique which you can see here. Thank you Allison!
Here are the Ingredients you'll need for the Vintage Valentine Card:
Stamps: You Plus Me
Ink: Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Encore Gold, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Basic Grey, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Naturals Ivory
Extras: Sweetheart punch, Gold Embossing Powder, Pool Party Embossing Powder, Versamark, Hearts Template, Heat Tool, Doily, Gold Button, Linen Thread, Sahara Sand Lace, Spritzer, Rubbing Alcohol, Early Espresso reinker, Soft Suede reinker.
Fill Spritzer with the Rubbing Alcohol and add 6-7 drops of the Soft Suede/Early Espresso reinkers. Shake and spritz onto Soft Suede cardstock that has the Heart template on it. It will lighten as it dries.
Happy Stamping! Kathy

Take the 3 1/2 x 4 in Whisper white cardstock and the Wild Wasabi cardstock and cut them using the Bigshot and the Deco Framelets. Stamp the Whisper White Deco cut cardstock using the images and inks. See picture for placement. Save a small area for you sentiment. Layer your Deco cut stamped Whisper White cardstock onto the Wild Wasabi Deco cardstock and add to the front of your card using dimensionals.

Stamp the inside piece of Whisper White cardstock with a few leaves and flowers. Add to the inside of your card.
Stamp and punch out four petite petal flowers using Blackberry Bliss ink. Use the dimensionals to add three flowers to the front of the card and the fourth to the inside.
