Using the Stampin' Up! Color Coach:  If you don't have the Color Coach and the In Color additions, you might want to consider ordering this really useful too.  The Color Coach provides great guidance on basic color theory and how each card is organized.  A key value of the Color Coach is that it gives you solid color combinations to jump start your creativity and let you try colors you might not be using as much.

Every color card has two color combinations of three colors each.  One combination will be the Creative Combination - the first two colors on that combination will be a power pair.  The second combination will either be a Sweet Set or a Getting Started combination.  The Sweet Set offers two other colors (in addition to the card's color) out of the entire set of core colors.  The Getting Started combination uses only colors from the getting started set of colors.  Shelli has marked her favorites out of the Creative, Sweet Set, or Getting Started combinations with her heart.
