You're So Sweet!

Here is a sweet card for you to make. It is a pop out swing card and it is easier to make that it looks. The dimensions and directions are below. I've also included Julie Davidson's video to help you make this card. I added a tab on the side of the front panel to make it easier for the card to slide in and out. Give it a try!

Ingredients
Stamps: Sprinkles of Life, You're So Sweet
Ink: Cucumber Crush, Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder,
          Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Whisper White, Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder,
Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Red Glimmer
Extras: Build a Tree punch, Square Framelits,
Cherry on Top Washi tape, label punch,
fast fuze adhesive or tear and tape adhesive.

Directions
General Dimensions:
Card base is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4" – I used Watermelon Wonder
Insert/Inside piece: 5" x 6", scored at 2" and 4" – This is on the 6" side.  I used Whisper White
Square piece is cut from the 3 1/4" Square framelit – I used Cucumber Crush
Stamped area: 3" x 3" square – I used Whisper White

Instructions for the card above:
·         Die cut the front of your Watermelon Wonder cardstock base with the 3 1/4" square framelit.
·         Fold the 5" x 6" scored Whisper White cardstock so that you have 3 equal panels.  Open up and stamp your sentiment in the center panel.  Attach one side of this piece to the inside of your Watermelon Wonder card.
·         Stamp on the 3" square with sentiment stamp and Watermelon Wonder ink.  Layer onto the 3 1/4" Cucumber Crush cardstock and add to the other side of the Whisper White folded piece making sure the square fits the precut opening in the Watermelon Wonder card front.
·         Stamp the Crumb Cake cardstock with the cupcake base and ice cream cone using Tip Top Taupe ink.  Cut out.
·         Stamp the Whisper Whie cardstock with the cloud using Crumb Cake ink.  Also stamp the Watermelon Wonder cardstock scrap using the Watermelon Wonder ink and the Soft Suede scrap cardstock and the Early Espresso ink.  Punch out using the Build a Tree punch.  Layer these together and add to the inside of your card.  Add a glimmer cherry on top!
·         Add washi tape to the front of your card.  Assemble the cupcake and add to the front of your card.  Punch out a label from the Whisper White cardstock and add to the back of the 3 1/4" square.  This will help the card front from slipping into the back of the card.  You will understand when you get to this point!!
·         Add glitter glue to the cupcake and the ice cream and allow to dry.  Have fun with this technique!

Happy Stamping!

Sprinkles of Life

Hi everyone!  How do you like the new catalog?  Isn't is great!

If you have a catalog with you, turn to the back page and you will see the wonderful stamp set called Sprinkles of Life.  This is the Ronald McDonald House stamp set for this year.  Stampin Up! will donate $3.00 from every purchase of this set to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  Wow!  That's super cool.  So, if you would like to purchase this set, just go to my website, click on shop now and place your order.  Or, you can call me and I will order it for you.

The new Tree Builder Punch coordinates with this stamp set.   With it you can punch out  most of the images and have fun piecing the parts to make trees, clouds, baskets and even ice cream cones!
Here are some samples of cards made with this set.  Some I have made and others are from other wonderful demonstrators who share their cards online.   Hope you will be inspired.

Yummy!

Happy Stamping!  Kathy
