Country Home Stamp Set

On page 43 in the new Holiday Catalog is a beautiful stamp set called Country Home.  The images are perfect for this time of year.  This set does not have any framelits, so you have to fussy cut the images or use the images as pictured below.   On page 38 in the Holiday Catalog is also a great stamp called Buffalo Check.  What a fun background stamp!  You can stamp it as is, or draw lines vertically and horizontally to make more plaids.  Plaids are so in this year!   Hope you enjoy these cards. This card uses the Galvanized paper and Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing Folder located on pg. 43 in the Holiday Catalog.  Use Light Smokey Slate, Light and Dark Old Olive, Calypso Coral and Light Rich Razzleberry Blends for coloring.  

Buffalo Check is a fabulous background stamp.  This example is Crushed Curry stamped on So Saffron cardstock.  The color for the pitcher is Daffodil Delight Blend.  Did you notice this is the same layout as the one above, but so different?

Still Night Stamped Cards

Fall is in the air!  One of my favorite stamp sets this fall is the Still Night Clear Mount Stamp Set.  The image of the owl is awesome and the thinlit dies are terrific.  Here are a few of the cards I have made using this set.  They are all similar in that they use the same papers and general concept.  The difference is the card technique.

This card front is a simple, but very nice layout. The card base is Sahara Sand cardstock.  The remaining cardstock is Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Basic Black.  Ink:  Memento Black.  Blends are: Crumb Cake, Ivory, and Smokey Slate and light Pineapple Punch.

 But, wait!  Look at the inside of this card!  It is a shadow box card!  Want to know how to make this?  Read on!

The next card is very similar, but uses the folded corner technique.  Sahara Sand cardstock has been omitted and a leaf embellishment used.
