Emboss the Perfect Plum cardstock using the Decorative Dots Embossing folder. Rub the cardstock with the Embossing buddy. Lightly ink in the raised areas of the embossed cardstock using the brayer and the versamark ink. Add Iridescent Ice embossing powder to the cardstock and tap off. The areas that were inked will hold onto the embossing powder. Use a paint brush to brush off any unwanted embossing powder from your image. Heat emboss to set. Add to the base of the front of the card.
On the long strip of Whisper White cardstock, stamp two leaves using the Mossy Meadow ink and leaf stamp. Add to the top part of the front of your card using monoadhesive.
Remember to finish the embossing technique before assembling. (I forgot!) |
Take the 3 1/2 x 4 in Whisper white cardstock and the Wild Wasabi cardstock and cut them using the Bigshot and the Deco Framelets. Stamp the Whisper White Deco cut cardstock using the images and inks. See picture for placement. Save a small area for you sentiment. Layer your Deco cut stamped Whisper White cardstock onto the Wild Wasabi Deco cardstock and add to the front of your card using dimensionals.
Stamp the inside piece of Whisper White cardstock with a few leaves and flowers. Add to the inside of your card.
Stamp and punch out four petite petal flowers using Blackberry Bliss ink. Use the dimensionals to add three flowers to the front of the card and the fourth to the inside.
And there you have it! A beautiful card and a fun new technique.
Enjoy!
